1. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between La Voyageuse (“we”, “our”, “us”) and the customer (“you”, “your”) with regard to travel services offered, including bespoke journeys, curated experiences, and related travel arrangements.
2. Contract Conclusion
A contract is considered binding once you confirm your booking in writing (email or online), and we issue a written confirmation. Verbal agreements are not binding unless confirmed in writing.
3. Payment Terms
- A deposit of [20–40]% of the total travel cost is due upon booking confirmation.
- The balance is payable [60–30] days prior to departure unless otherwise agreed.
- Full payment is required immediately for bookings made less than 30 days before departure.
4. Prices and Services
All prices quoted are per person and include only the services expressly mentioned in your travel itinerary. Price adjustments may occur due to:
- Exchange rate fluctuations
- New or increased governmental fees and taxes
- Third-party price changes
Any such adjustments will be communicated no later than 30 days before the journey.
5. Cancellations and Modifications
By You:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Fees apply as follows:
- 60 days prior: 25% of total trip cost
- 59–30 days: 50% of total trip cost
- <30 days: 100% of total trip cost (non-refundable)
Name changes and itinerary modifications may incur additional costs and are subject to availability.
By Us:
La Voyageuse reserves the right to cancel or amend a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure, security concerns, insufficient participation). In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or a suitable alternative.
6. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, medical, accident, and repatriation coverage) is mandatory. It is your responsibility to ensure adequate coverage prior to departure.
7. Travel Documentation
You are solely responsible for obtaining valid travel documents (passports, visas, health certificates) and complying with all entry and transit requirements. La Voyageuse cannot be held liable for any consequences arising from non-compliance.
8. Liability
La Voyageuse is liable only for direct damages caused by gross negligence or intent, up to the total value of the booked services. We are not liable for:
- Actions of third-party suppliers
- Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, political unrest)
- Personal negligence, missed flights, or unutilized services
9. Data Protection
We handle your personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (FADP). Your information is used strictly for travel planning and service fulfillment, and will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for travel execution.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland.
