THE PATAGONIA WHALE RIDE

A UNIQUE HORSEBACK RIDING EXPERIENCE THAT INCLUDES WHALE WATCHING AND MARINE WILDLIFE OBSERVATION

Unlike the rugged, mountainous imagery most associate with Patagonia, this exclusive journey unfolds on the windswept Atlantic edge — a unique, arid coastline where the steppe meets the sea. Over six days, you’ll explore the vast Valdés Peninsula on horseback, riding through ancient seabeds, fossil canyons, and along endless deserted beaches.

Timed with the southern right whale migration, this experience offers exceptional land- and sea-based whale watching, far from crowds. Nights are spent camping under the stars or in a traditional estancia, accompanied by warm hospitality and stories around the fire.

Ride to remote headlands and ancient Tehuelche sites. From a windswept ridge, watch whales and calves just offshore — often within 50 meters.

Day 5 — Whale Watching by Boat
Transfer to Puerto Pirámides for an unforgettable afternoon at sea: whales breaching, tail-slapping, and gliding beside the boat in their natural habitat.

Day 6 — Farewell
